SHATTERED DREAMS
Pearland EMS was among the agencies that participated in this program that creates a sense of what it is like to High School Juniors and Seniors to personally experience a alcohol-related fatality. This is accomplished using a reenactment of a fatality crash in front of the school. Students portray the "dead", the "injured" and even the "grim reaper." The "drunk" gets arrested. The "injured" carried away by ambulance and helicopter. The "dead" are carried away in a hearse.
